High strength steel plate and sheet S890QL1 under EN 10025_6 shall be under Quenched and Tempered delivery 

condition when rolling.The number QL1 stand for doing low temperature impacting test at minus 60 centi degree at 

minimum 27 J energy on transverse direction V_notch test pieces.

 

Owning to the higher tensile strength&yield strength and so lower temperature impacting test,so our enigeers foucs 

on the rolling process carefully and limited the chemical composition step by step,then roll these plates in a higher 

steel quality and a higher percentage of passing rate.Every plate have to be done mill test in mill’s lab before taking 

out mill,it can guarantee steel property for each plate and would issue the original MTC for all the passing plates 

along with the materials.
